Areas of Practice
Attorney Wolf oversees the firm's real estate practice and represents businesses and individuals in all aspects of property acquisition and disposition, including entity formation and entity agreements, financing, zoning, tax free exchanges, permitting, and title matters. Scott is also actively involved in the firm's business practice, including corporate finance, shareholder and LLC member matters, contract negotiations, as well as the prosecution of trademarks and copyrights.
Scott is also admitted to practice law in Florida, focusing on real estate, probate, and residency matters, and he maintains an active referral network for matters requiring local counsel.
Work for Clients
Scott advises buyers and sellers of commercial and residential real estate, both developed and undeveloped, current owners involved in refinancing, development, redevelopment and leasing, and has been involved in a broad range of real estate and commercial financing transactions, from seller-financed deals to multiple lender and mezzanine financing loan packages. Scott also advises clients who are utilizing the tax deferral benefits of IRC § 1031 by investing proceeds from the sale of investment property into other investment properties.
Professional Activities
Mr. Wolf is a member of the Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts and the Real Estate, Property, Probate, Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar. Mr. Wolf is also a Member of the Planning and Development Board for the City of Newton, as well as an authorized agent for First American Title Insurance Company.
