Areas of Practice

Scott I. Wolf oversees the firm's real estate practice and represents businesses and individuals in all aspects of property acquisition and disposition, including entity formation and entity agreements, financing, zoning, permitting, and title matters. Mr. Wolf is also actively involved in the firm's business practice, including corporate finance, shareholder and LLC member matters, contract negotiations, as well as the prosecution of trademarks and copyrights. Mr. Wolf is admitted to practice law in Florida, focusing on real estate, probate, and residency matters.

Work for Clients

Mr. Wolf has represented buyers and sellers of commercial and residential real estate, both developed and undeveloped, current owners involved in refinancing, development, redevelopment and leasing, and has been involved in a broad range of real estate and commercial financing transactions, from seller-financed deals to multiple lender and mezzanine financing loan packages. Mr. Wolf also advises clients who are utilizing the tax deferral benefits of IRC § 1031 by investing proceeds from the sale of investment property into other investment properties.

Mr. Wolf also advises his private business clients on general corporate matters, including leases, contract disputes, trademark prosecution and liquor license transfers.

Professional Activities

Mr. Wolf is a member of the Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts, Massachusetts Bar Association, and the Real Estate, Property, Probate, Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar. Mr. Wolf is also an Alternate Member of the Planning and Development Board for the City of Newton, as well as an authorized agent for First American Title Insurance Company.
