Work For Clients
In the business litigation area, Mr. Skogstrom has prosecuted and defended a wide array of lawsuits including cases involving: Shareholder disputes in closely held businesses; Disputes arising from sale of businesses; Building construction, engineering and design defects and disputes; Commercial and residential landlord/tenant disputes; Denial/extent of insurance coverage; Services rendered/goods sold; Leases of personal property; Estate and Will controversies; Real estate commissions; Enforcing and disputing promissory notes and mortgages, and; Obtaining and enforcing liens and attachments.
In the employment litigation and employment law areas, Mr. Skogstrom represents many large and small employers. He has presented and argued cases involving labor and employment matters in arbitration, administrative hearings, state and federal courts, including discrimination, harassment and wrongful termination matters. Mr. Skogstrom assists clients in drafting, negotiating and litigating employment and severance agreements, non-competition/non-solicitation and confidentiality/trade secret agreements, as well as corporate employment policies and handbooks.
Professional Activities
Mr. Skogstrom is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association Labor and Employment Section and a past member of the American Bar Association - Labor and Employment and Litigation Sections. In addition to being a member of the Massachusetts bar since 1988, since 1989 he has been admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.

Mr. Skogstrom is the author of numerous employment related articles and has conducted many workshops and seminars concerning employment and discrimination issues.
