Medicaid is probably the single most important and complex federal aid program for the elderly. Our firm provides professional consultation to help you understand the criteria for, and planning to achieve, eligibility for Medicaid, as the alternative to probate pay long-term care for nursing homes. We offer planning to maintain assets for family use, including residences, while establishing Medicaid-eligibility. We provide estate-planning process. If a client is incompetent not only will we assist in the guardianship / conservatorship, but also in petitioning the Court to establish an estate plan for the client that is sensitive to Medicaid and taxes.
